Yano when you eat spag bol... do you:

1. Slurrrrrp it and cause a mess

2. Eat it propa so as not to cause a mess with a fork and spoon

I've eaten Spaghetti dishes in Italy with an Italian family, and they used ONLY a fork, and did a fair bit of slurping and sucking.

A LOT of spaghetti dishes (and this is true of Japanese noodle dishes) are supposed to be slurped, and are often served VERY hot. The slurping and action of drawing air over the food cools it down and is also said to enhance the flavour, allowing the aroma, steam and sauce to circulate in the mouth.

So Pawlorrrr, You are not a scruff, you are the distinguished eater who is eating it correctly

Right... this fork n slurpin nonsense ... I honestly dunno bc I hate spag bol with a passion!!! However if we were to take this a stage further to the more sophisticated palette and move onwards to the legendary spaghetti carbonara then sluuuurrrrpin is sooooo the way to go!!!!

In Rome earlier this year our waiter was trying to show my lil dude how to use the fork n spoon trick.... soon as his back was turned I tapped the side of me noggin and said to the wee man... slurp away my boy... oh how we slurped annnnnd what a bloody mess we made .. the lil dude looked like he had slaughtered a pig... and as I was on the carbonara and this is a family show... its probs best I dont mention what looked like was all over me... does anyone know the joke about a pasterer's radio xxxxxxx paula.... you are scruffy tho
