Would it be a good idea to have a thread on the clan page for players that are available to join existing reliable teams(like a transfer market if you like)instead of new clans forming(usually unreliable) if so my names first on the list lol as i have been a member for over 2 years and it seems like a holy grail to start or join a team

She puts in so much time into this clan league that its not funny. She is always facing the battle of getting something like 8 (or more) teams of 8 people (which is a minimum of 64 people) to play games so everything runs smoothly

it takes a lot of effort to run a league, or a clan league - and when you see things like this come up all the time, it really must fustrate you.

You do not have an idea how hard it is to run one of these things until you do it, I run the Funkyleague09 - and my gee thats hard, and I am only having to put up with 16 people!!!

she does a great job for whats needed, and there are plenty of other threads relating to this.

understood, i was going to run this new clan season and leagues, but when people were getting banned for no reason after the hard work that mich and adam did i thought it was arrogant, and so did others.

ive only joined this clan league for next season some of the ex untoucbales are getting back on, if i wasnt with them i wouldnt join.

if you look at the guys post all in all hes trying to help pot. dont you think? thats a question by the way

Sorry to be blunt but it doesnt take much to ask someone who is willing to lend a hand if you are clearly getting stressed by it all and then moan about how much you have to do etc. Not that im ungrateful for what either of you have done btw just to make that clear!

She does let others help, she just doesn't want too many, she picks carefully. Also, there aren't acually many things to do, it's just that some of the few things that are done take a while.

As for running a league, it can be tough. Creating a site, updating it, keeping the league going, putting up with unreliable players - it's all tough to deal with on your own, as Flumpy says. And pot, being the main runner, has to deal with a total of 64 players, it's not easy. Most queries are aimed at her, she deals with fixtures, she mainly decides on default wins...it's a tough thing to do, and she just gets slightly annoyed at times. She doesn't get the credit she deserves most of the time.

No she probably doesn't get the credit she deserves, and if as you say people help then going back to what josh said... there wasn't a great need to be mean to davey when he posted

I doubt it was deliberate, it was just out of annoyance that davey didn't check first. And it's hard to find some threads thanks to the constant amount of new clans, which is why we made a thread about that.

and i doubt it would be made sticky as there is already one thread there so my solutions have failed me for the 502nd time

Yes, it wouldnt take much to ask for a helping hand, but thats something that potty and myself just dont want.

In my case, the only hard part is typing up all the fixtures, sending out emails. After that, its just playing and putting up scores.

What I was trying to say is that I am sure that having to organise so many more people is very hard.

But potty and yoda do a fantastic job.

so there no harm in a guy trying to do a lil bit for them ok?
