does any one else keep getting major lag on this site or is it just me ?

Lag is mostly caused by your computer. Try freeing up some of your RAM. Your internet browser uses alot of memory when it's running Funkypool. Try to avoid things like other games, Limewire (or any P2P network), or anything that requires alot of RAM. If that doesnt work, try clearing your cookies in your browser. If that doesnt work, then you should upgrade. lol

My Laptop is playing up on me at the moment becasue it will not pick up the wireless internet connection I have.

So I am playing on the desktop and I get major lag at times.

I have same prob my desktop has been lagging loads but on my lappy im fine.

I also think its the 02 ad too

i've had mojor lag in the past but only when the o2 advert is up, i removed activex and that sorted the major lag out

Lag is used to describe about 4 different things on this site, so please describe what you mean.

I get HUGE lag when the 02 adverts come on and it's impossible to play!

also try defraging your hard drive
Start Menu then
Programmes then
accessories then
system tools then
Disc defragment

this should be done on a regular basis if you use the comp a lot same applies for clearing temp internet files, cookies etc

but sometimes the best will in the world and you may still get lag.......internet traffic can contribute too

i try to take my shot but it wont let me and the seconds tick away ..

So do i!!! How do i get rid of it??? it wont let me do anything when the ad's are on both the game and on the home page! HELP!

Am i the only one that doesnt get any pop-ups or advertisements on the page? I see all the people talking bout advertisements messing them up. I dont have any. Is it just a UK thing?

must be. the only advert I see is the "family fortunes" and the deal or no deal one where "David E won $100000000000000000000" (not literally) in the side bar where all the records are shown when there are no ads.

It used to be when the adverts were at the top of the page, I never got them at all!

but I dont get random pop ups...

I dont even get that man. My scream is nothing but the pool table and chat room. I dont know if it's because im using firefox or what, but it's freaking awesome. And as for the PM's....just be happy that you're popular enough to have people that wanna talk to you. I eliminate that option, cuz the only ppl that wanna talk to me seem to dislike me

These 02 adverts are virtually impossible to play in, they start again every 2 mins and cause so much lag, can anyone help?

Im using firefox and my ads are at the side on the left n i dont get the o2 one just jackpot joy for sum reason.

But on my desktop were using ie7 and that gets major lag when o2 pops up.

Indeed, O2 adverts do not currently appear if you use the widescreen version.
