LOL what do you mean you have no disk?
I assume you mean you only have one disk.. well, you can still try out Windows 7, or indeed any other operating system without affecting your existing one, using Virtual machines..
VMWare (use google) is my preferred software, but you can also use Microsofts VirtualBox (again, google) if you only want to run Microsoft OS's.
This is a quick screenshot of my VMware system running Mac OSX with Neptune paused. Great software, and all free (apart from OS liscences of course!)

I've been using the earlier builds for a while now and really miss the new taskbar, aero and ribbon features when moving back to Vista or XP (aero shake is particularly good when playing FP ).
I'm not such a fan of the new taskbar, it seems over complex for my liking, but I do like how you can rearrange the order of the tabs, I don't know whether or not you can do that on Vista, if you can, I'd like to know how

I think you can.. My cousin has vista and it seem aa really good OS to get.

Yeah I like Vista myself
I like how it looks and I like the side bar on the desktop (even though I have it turned off )

Just an update about my mate's laptop - he got the Toshiba disk and it's all fixed now - thanks for the help guys
