funkypool on wikipedia?

Does anyone else think that funkypool rightly deserves a page on wikipedia?
Would be interesting to see the history of it all including how it all started, leaders of leaderboards and veterans of the game etc.
I think someone should put this together.. Anyone else think this is a good/interesting idea?

Has been mentioned before and it can't be done.
dark_cloud spoke to the admin of the site and they said we can't have one because there isn't any independent research.
I'll just dig up the link.

To sum it up:
I had a long discussion with two administrators of Wikipedia and unfortunately the reason behind funkypool not being allowed its own article is that there is no independant research about it.
What this means is that information we could put onto the wikipedia article doesnt have any evidence to back it up. Other similar sites as Runescape and Habbo Hotel are allowed because they have independant research done on them.

Surely if someone was to gather all the intel...then that would count as independant research?

True... Any schmuck can write a page on anything, and it's up to the Wikipedia editorial team to decide what stays and what doesn't

I didn't want to seem stupid by asking what kind of independant research they needed, but what do they need??
Would it have to be a well known internet source, or just some guy who sits down all day and has nothing better to do!?
