Some guy just won a tounrnament and it said: ______ just won their 6th ever tournament.
does it really need the word 'ever'?
yeah, its just something so minor that many of you will go, whatever. but just a question for those english freaks out there.

English freaks as in grammer freaks - people (like english teachers) attack every little grammer error.
I dont think the count should be taken off, I actually quite like it.

But that account has only ever one 'said' ammount of tournaments. If it used their actual name not username, then it makes more sense to change it.
Just be happy to get an anouncnment

i never put those ' things in when im typing and do you think that I would spell spelling like that under those circumstances lol.
like I said, this has to be the most minor change to be asked for on here, becuase I thourght that a few english and grammar freaks would be on to it (i know a fair few so i know what they look for)

In my opinion, whether it be grammatically correct or not, I think it just sounds and reads better, without the word 'ever' in there.

nick (Professional) won their 7th 8 ball tournament
vs.
nick (Professional) won their 7th ever 8 ball tournament
I added the ever to separate the 2 numbers. I think it's grammatically correct.

Hmmmm... Option 1 wouldn't be a grammar error, rather a question of how you've chosen to style it. So be it!

nick (Professional) has won their 7th 8 ball tournament
Maybe this random addition would make it look better

Can't you make the "8 ball tournament" in a different colour?

Does it really matter. This is a small matter IMO
Im sure doubles games and league games are on the higher list off jobs to do than this.
Also if bringing back Pro games for a change, i would say they would be more popular than last time.
Sorry off the topic a little
