I think Group Messaging would be a great addition to the offline side of the site. It would be useful for quite a few people, whether your the captain of a clan, running your own league/knockout in the Pool Events, or just wanting to ask your mates if they want a big game of killer!

It could just be a section in the "Messages" part, where you could add people to a certain group you've named, like "Clan". Then you just type out the message, click send, and the message goes to all those players in the Group. It would save you having to send out several messages that were the exact same, meaning you can get on with other stuff.

Thoughts?

Even though I wouldn't really need this feature as I don't partake in any of the events/clans. I can see how this would be useful for the people that do.

I've run one or two Irish Cups on the forums, and how easy it would have been to create one big group of all the Irish players I could get my hands on and send one invitation message.

That sounds a very good idea, would be useful to a lot of people on here.

yeah...I think this may have been mentioned a few times before, but I like it.

Sometimes there are 2 or 3 other clan members on at the same time and we are all trying to figue things out.

and with membership getting very high, I think it needs to come in sooner or later.

I couldn't find any threads on it, so it's why I made this one

This would really be a great help esp for clans i spent 30 mins sending msgs when if we had group would have taken 10.

i like this idea, since im a clan captain and running a league on snooker.
