My screen has gone massive, the writing, the windows I open. I have to move the page sideways to see the last threads posted on and I can't play the game because my screen resolution is set to low to play.
I've had this problem before, but never has the writing etc... been so big. I usually right click properties on the desktop, go to settings then decide my preffered size/setting.. I can't do that now. The screen resolution bar is stuck right at the bottom (far left), and I can't move it atall.
I'm hoping that someone can help

By silly I mean - silly and easy for all those people that know the answer, but hopefully helpful to people like me who only, just about, know how to move the mouse and type

Maybe you're wearing binoculars??
I really dont know, but you could try making the text size smaller by going to view > Text size > Smaller (Safari) or Page > Text Size > Smaller (Internet explorer)
Wait for some professional advice is my opinion
EDIT: If you are on a PC, check the monitor and see if there are any (+) and (-) buttons you can press on the outside of the monitor as well as a screen resolution menu you can access remotely.
This is a prank played at school, except they make everything smaller
Laptops dont have these buttons, so I cant help you there

Thanks for the reply mate.
I've just done the view > Text Size > Smaller bit of your post, changed the size to smallest there is and no difference whatsoever
I have the + and - button on my monitor but I can't see anything there that will help, other than at the bottom It says resoultion 640x480 60Hz and Optimum 1280x1024 60Hz, if that is any interest(it's not an option though)
This is really annoying

Sounds like you have lost your graphics drivers and are stuck with a standard VGA screen resolution.
If you have the drivers, you can try reinstallng them, if not the press <windows>+<break> to bring up the system properties, go to the hardware tab, then device manager, find your graphics card and right-click to uninstall.
The reboot windows and the card should reinstall again, hopefully back to normal.

Ok, the <windows> key is the one wth the windows logo on it, usually second from the left on the bottom row of a keyboard (but could be anywhere on a laptop)
You can do the same thing by right-clicking "My Computer" and selecting properties from the menu.
Dont worry about the drivers for now, try letting windows find them by doing the above.
