dunno if anyone else gets this, but i find when itunes is either loaded or im listening to a song, i lag really badly which affects the game im playing. just wondered if anyone else has the same problems or anyone with suggestions on how to fix this apart from the obvious dont load it

I have problems if MSN is loaded it slows down the game which causes nasty lag which make my computer switch itself off lol.

I just don't load MSN up when I want a few games.

Yeah it might not just be iTunes' fault, just the fact that another 'large' program is running.

iTunes can be very demanding on any system, so can easily cause lag in gameplay.

using a more lightweight solution like windows mediaplayer or winamp can make a huge difference.

But what about all the songs you buy on the itunes store. thats one of the reasons i use Itunes. They make it so you cant put the songs on your phone or any other Media Player.

Do you know any way to convert them spinny?

I'm sure can ''right click'' and there is a file save as option and then you upload them from windows media player mate..

Wayback when I had no alternative way to get a track i wanted, you could save music downloaded through iTunes to another format.

I believe you can now set iTunes to store all files in standard DRM protected mp3 by default, however someone else can clarify that, I wont be touching iTunes again for love nor money!

The music I listen to is from ripped cd's and mp3's downloaded from other places (don't like itunes at all). Playing them in VLC media player causes no lagging problems at all.

it is rather annoying tho, trying to play a game and listen to good tunes at the same time which aint working
