I just thought it would be a good idea to be able to choose from us 8 ball or uk 8 ball to play straight pool on.

As it was the origional table on funkypool. It would get everyone playing i reckon

Post ive made, i think it would be great to have this option....

err...do we [I] [B] really [/I] [/B] need straight and killer on these tables though?
if you have too many options over too many things, then things start to thin out over each game type. And then you have a split of those US straight players and those UK straight players.
remember when we had 8US and pro, 9Ball and pro and 8UK? everyone just went to the easier game type (ie, not pro!) and all the options just thined things out. When the pro versions were gone, there were plenty of games and you hardly waited! Then golf came in. Yes, bug smash at first, when I am on, I only see guests or maybe one member playing if I am lucky. Killer came in and was a smash, but now that is losing some of its popularity - now straight.
we currently have 6 options for game types. Now some people want to make that 8!
I think that its not nessesary. THere would just be too much to choose from and a lot of people wont get to play their game because there are just too many options.
yeah, it would be nice, but then you are thining things out too much, which creates un happy people which creates bored people which creates rowdy people which creates a problem for the admins!

Valid point, but if people prefer the easier option, surely US should be scrapped and UK replace it completely then

Noooooo... straight is a great game; if it were changed to UK, then the winning score would need to be 50 or even higher. It would be too easy.

i think there sould be uk one aswell so that for people are better at uk sould have the right
