in fact just reading over that old one braught back a few memmories.
a primary School (grade 1-7) here in Queensland (Australia) banned students from doing Cartwheels and Handstands as the school feared that legal action would be taken out against them if a student hurt themselves.
Then another school banned all grade 7's from playing lunch time sport because there were too many fights. It was mainly 2 or 3 groups apparantly lol.

Yeah... There was one like this when I watched TV. I was watching the FBI files, and a man on the run for 20 or so years got arrested for 13 murders. But instead of "lock him up for life" they gave him a sentence of 550 years!

Unfortunately life doesn't mean life which is so stupid because you now get all these good behaviour bribes that take years off whats the point? Very few studies have shown prisoners to actually turn a new leaf!

In all the nurseries I've worked in I've never once come across this. I've worked in mother and tots groups, private day nurseries, and with foundation level children in school and never has anyone sang baa baa wooly sheep!
Most of the time when you hear stories like this it'll be one insignificant council in the middle of no where that put some sort of diversity policy through, which in terms would go against diversity in itself!
