i have got adware but my avg 8.0 isnt picking it up and system restore isnt working! any suggestions?

Try downloading Malwarebyte's anti-malware...

Picks up absolutely everything on my computer!


(Is only a virus scanner. Does not come with firewall or internet protection etc.)

I use AVG I don't seem to have a problem.

try going out and buying a decent bit of protection like kaspersky, It was on offer at £25......beats the freebies and others hands down...freebies dont pick up as much as bought ones......i found out to my peril when i had to completely wipe my drive and start again some weeks ago.

I have a prob i cant log in on my lappy or desktop an my bros laptop wont work either any ideas why this could be im currently logged in on my mobile broadband but the connection is rubbish.

Also we just downloaded ie8 n thats doesnt work wot so ever either we only did it on one computer tho as a test to see if i could get funky bk up.

Also neither computers will do a system restore any ideas why.

i had that problem when i got a virus so i had to do a complete recovery of my hard drive....sometimes they attatch themselves to system restore, are you having other running problems?

No computers is slow in general ill tell the bf he can do that lol
