who thinks the 2 ball rule shud be taking off and everything shud apart from consecutive fouling, i.e potting white not hitting a rail after hittin a ball please show your support thanks

I think its ok the way it is, just means you have to be more careful and not just hit and hope.(like 9ball and killer)

Potting the white should always be a foul.
Not hitting a rail after hittin a ball - I'm okay with that remaining a foul.
Potting two balls in the one shot should NOT be end of run.

There will always be fouls, like potting the white and failing to connect with a rail after hitting a ball.

Why should you be penalised for potting several balls together.

Potting two balls together is not a problem in the real rules of the game. Why it is a part of the Funkypool rules, I don't know.

but what if we had it so if you did pot more than one ball, you socre zero points but you keep going?

how about theres 1 ball left and the new rack. i pot the ball and play a cannon into the pack in order to continue my turn and run..but i play such a good shot that i pot a ball from teh rack too. I lose my turn and the balls are nicely spread for my opponent..

Remember this is not real pool, its funkypool. Nick has put the rules his own way and there is no problem with it. Yes it can be unlucky and annoying when it happens. But its part of the game.

Oh before i forget it was the choice of either nominating every shot for the ball and the pocket or not allowed to pot 2 balls. I know i would get sick of nominating every time.

Its just a different way of playing the game.

but if you have the rule that potting two balls is zero, but you still get to continue; that is the perfect compromise.

It stops the hit and hope to a certain degree and there is incentive for more attacking game play.

however, I think if you pot 3 balls, then there should be a foul; because who here can really pot three balls without trying?

pot 0=0 and lose the turn, pot 1=1pt and keep goin, pot 2=0pts and keep goin, pot 3 balls=0pts and lose the turn.
