Well what can I say appart from I fed up of always getting the unsporting members at the moment.

It costs nothing to say gl, gg, wp or ul.
To be sworn at after I lose is darn disrepectful and unsportsman like.

I am a true sportsman and if members are not willing to respect there fellow members then dont come on here.

I will always give le-way to new members that have not played much as they are just getting to know there way round.

I would love to name and shame but you all know who you are and being a proffessional is even worse as you should know better.

Can we please start to respect fellow members.

This has been mentioned a gazillion times on this website, and the most popular response is this:

You cannot force someone to say gg etc.

It may seem like bad sportsmanship, but in the end, it is just a game and you shouldn't let these things get to you!

Some people don't understand ethics and morals as much as others, and so they won't say "good game" to a game they obviously didn't enjoy.

Being too empathetic, I will always say gg, wp, ul, gl etc. As I stand strongly by; "treat others how you would like to be treated yourself."

Other people are different, throw it over your shoulder and get on with life. There is no way that everyone on this website will say gg.

Fully understand that not all will do but to then swear at you is just plain ignorant and disrespectfull.

Yes, I agree that that is impolite, in which case use the ignore button or send a complaint!

There is no point retaliating and sinking to thier level. They win no friends by being uncourteous. It proves they have a lack of vocabulary and/or a lack of friendship skills.

It is, in a nutshell, just rude and uncalled for!


Just take out of it the fact that you are better than them

its unfortunate that these people use the internet to disprespect people, when in reality they have no backbone, try not to rise to it and just remember by being the better, respectful, more well mannered person makes you far higher than they are in moral standings.....rank means nowt if people are arrogant and rude, its whats inside a person that makes them good.

I must admit i have done it before. but why say gg if it clearly wasnt sometimes i just refuse to say it and others i will say it but not mean it, but that is usually if they win by flukes either way i will continue to do this.

but lets say...your chinese and you dont know english. this person who speaks english keeps talking in this 'strange language' and then says 'gg'. the chinese guy leaves and then the english guy thinks that he is just rude.

ok, little extreme but im sure that can be the reason sometimes.

i dont say gg all the time. sometimes because I forget, sometimes because the game is over in 3 shots and worthless to say its a good game becasue there wasnt really one, and other times I just dont think that it was a good game!!!

some do; some dont. like saying please and thankyou for everything. and some just dont know what gg, wp, ul, gs, ns, ty etc means...

anyway... too much chocolate - im off to bed

well we all have to weigh up the game situation, at the end of the day, its not big and clever to be rude, if you have nothing good to say, then say nothing

i say gl instead of gg now if they win cos of luck, still gets on my nereves though cos they start to fink they are better than ya, n in my case i aint well known to prove they aint.
