Yeah but lost did say it was unavoidable. Also reading the forums lost is the one who has tried to make contact the most.

Well lost wasnt here at all last week fixtures came out n he posted ot gonna be around till wk end he was lucky to get the first extention topsy.

Baz has made contact via forums and i told baz to red forums as lost posted thats why he posted bout bein away at wk/end n tbh baz is usually first to complete a fixture and usually on a monday.

There was a bit of a problem. Lost said he was away till Saturday, Baz said he was away at the weekend, which meant they'd miss each other, hence the extension. I'd disagree with a 0-0, mainly because this could affect either clans final position, as there may be a matter of points in it. Again harsh on the two players, who did warn us after all.

Would like to hear more inputs from people

simple case of both players in the wrong, have to treat both equal.
both players shouldve let their captains know they were going away and they shouldve been subs and let available players play, both made some effort to play but both went away, I take it both didnt inform their captains they were going away and if they did then its the captains fault, due to all the above surely it has to be a 0-0.

rules shouldn't be getting changed to suit,

They did. Bazzacu was only away two days, so selecting him was simple enough, and probably our best choice, as our only only sub, Niall, wasn't up for playing. And he warned pot before the fixtures were made up.

Lost, I don't know when he warned someone, but it was early on anyway.

each clan can have 3 subs, this was raised to help in situations like this, I suggest you get another sub, surely the league organisers expect all clans to be reliable and stick to the rules lol

if the captain chooses to have less than 3 subs then its their own fault if they are struggling for a reliable team when players have to go away.

You should have a pools panel who look at unplayed fixtures and decide the results according to information given to them by the clan organisers
That way nobody can be accused of changing rules to suit

Need more explanation on this Pools Panel, as I was a newb at the last event. I've thought about something though, that it be fairer to have some sort of thing where all the captains make a judgement on something, seeing as both league runners are in the same clan, and we want to avoid complaints of bias

Pools panel in your "newb era" involved 4 people from random clans beign sent a list of unplayed games and the reasons people claim they didnt play and any special circumstances etc.
Any clan league runners thoughts such as logins or messages also were sent out and the pools panel then decided what they think the score should be.
I then averaged out the scores sent by those people and rounded up to the nearest whole number.

ie,

yoda vs mmt
(yoda send message saying mmt wasnt responding to messages, heard nowt from mmt. yoda logged in every night for at least an hour, mmt logged in once for 3 minutes. yoda said he had coursework to do, mmt said he was washing his hair.

poolspanel1- 10-0
poolspanel2- 8-0
poolspanel3- 6-1
poolpanel4 (gullible, niall maybe :P)- 4-10
total scores- 28-11
divide by 4 to get averaged out score of 7-3
