Was this your first ever time driving a car Baz?
If so and you learn to drive to test standard and pass in 6 weeks I will delete my account
If your instructor genuinely told you that then find a new one.
Presuming this isnt a crash course anyway, Im going on the assumption that you are doing hourly lessons once or twice a week or whathaveya

What dya mean by other vehicles Baz? Tractors, mopeds, boats, airplanes
If you have some experience on the roads then I guess its not wholly unrealistic to pass in 6 weeks......most people take around a year to do it from scratch, I know some people who've done it in less than 3 months but they all have drove before.
Anybody driving for the first time will never pass in 6 weeks.....unless they do a crash course and excel at it
