Just played in my first ever 5-a-side football tournament, at the age of 16 lol ages in the tourney ranged from about 12 to 17.
It was awesome though. Four minute games, eight teams, split into two groups of four. I'm keeper for my team, cause I like diving and I do well in goals
Our team came third in our group, after winning our first game 2-0 (Yey I didn't concede!) we lost 4-1 (lead 1-0, but a sucidal passback and penalty which shouldn't have been made us go down 2-1), and lost the last game 2-0.
The top two sides from each group go into a Champions League group, while the 3rd and 4th placed teams go into the UEFA Cup group. We eased through our group with 3 wins, involving me conceding either 0 or 1 (I forgot). The UEFA Cup final was between us and the second placed team, and we won it 3-1
Not bad for my first time, got a good few clean sheets
Bring on next week!
