Hey everyone,

I just got back from my internship and purchasing my graduation gown.

I made a stupid mistake though. He asked me how tall I was in inches and I told him 57.

Noooope, I am 67 inches! Anyone got a foot of fabric I can glue on this gown? Hah. Guess I'll have to return to the store later.

I was considering going to graduate school to obtain my master's degree but I have decided to put that idea on hold. I am focusing on finding a job in social work/social services upon graduating to build some experience. On top of that I will be relocating, be buying another car, etc. so a lot of stressors on my plate after next week.

The past 15 weeks I have been interning at a government center in the area of children's mental health (child protection services is just across the hall).

It is certainly a passion of mine to work with disadvantaged youth but I can also understand why the burnout rate (and why so many people would not want to do this for life like you said) is so high in this profession.

Right now, I am just getting my foot in the door and looking for opportunites that will be the best fit for me.

I like to think myself as a child as that means I can get away with childish things... But it doesn't work like that in reality.

So, I view myself as {resonably} responsible and with a strong common sense. And it shows sitting in the chat room talking to people.

Just petty things like "Girls PM me" or "Chelsea rule! Man U suck!" make me happy to be sensible.

But what really gets under my skin are homphobes

I will happily stand up for them {even though I'm 15} in most situations that I come across. Every time in the chat room {as some of you find out }. Personally, I don't see their problem.

I will stop now as it will develop into a rant.
