hey plz post ur thoughts on straight pool in UK

i dont think that either killer or straight should be introduced on UK tables.

it would just clog up more things in my opinion. There is nothing wrong with having Killer and 14.1 on just the US tables, to make it unique.

Agreed, no point in having the game on both types of table.

Its already hard to even get a game of killer since Straight came out. If you have two types of Straight and Killer it will just spread players thinner.

Yes that was what i was thinking the more games that some out the less players there will be.

Well i for one would like to see these games on the uk table, why do they have to always be on us table?

I cant say much as I dont know, but it must be easier to get these game types onto the US tables (or faster)

there is only two major differences with US and the UK games - size of balls and no pocket protection.

ANd then there is the rules. What would we do about the rail rule? And then would a foul be suicidle with carries too??

and then to the main point, there would be to many game types for to few people. having 8 game types at times where there may be as few as 20 people online at low periods just isnt right. I think that we would need a consistant number of 200 online at a time to see any real benefit.
