£1 bet on Villa to win the league next season
Shame I didn't have a bet on Button winning the F1 title back in February when he didn't have a drive

Home form's been the key to success for United this season, nobody close close to them in relation to this. If Liverpool (the only unbeaten home team) could have turned more of those 7 home draws into wins they would have won the league, no doubt.
49 points from a possible 54 for United at home is superb. Liverpool have just 40 from the same. There's the key to success right there. Consistency at home, winning games when you don't look likely to (United-Spurs), scoring injury time winners as opposed to equalizers. Chelsea are in the same boat. How uncharacteristic of them is it to allow home form cost them a league?! Their away form has been immense, second to none, but like Liverpool, too many home draws killed their title chances. Even if you can't stand United, you can't help but admire their brilliant consistency, even looking at their last 6 league games, really putting it in when it matters most. Fair dues to them.

Dont think i could agree any more, except both liverpool and united only had possible 51 points at home so far but i see where you're coming from, united have turned a draw into a win where liverpool and chelsea couldnt but hopefully the form shown the past month or so will carry over to next season to prove an immense title race again!

I think United will win the league, as they only need 4 more points to be once again, crowned champions!!

Both have played 18 homes games, 18 x 3 = 54, how dare you question me, I'm offended
Thanks for agreeing with me though

Super stuff from Newcastle! I reckon they'll stay up now, in fact I've always thought that! I don't think they'll lose at home to Fulham, and I think a point could keep them up. Hull won't get another point I don't think Hull will get another point. They've been the worst team this year, and should go down now.

Hull to beat Manchester United and to survive on last day drama with late goal by Boaz Myhill. You heard it here first

lol, maybe not the goalscorer, but could see Hull getting something there maybe, Man United with the title sewn up by then more than likely, may field a team of kids and Hull may be able to nick a desperate win.
If Myhill did score, it'll be another Jimmy Glass story. Shame not a Carlisle fan, just wonder what their feelings were like when he got that goal, magical moment of football though
