This tournament will be RESTARTED due to some difficulties.

everyone who was originally in the tournament will get piority positions in the tournament but this is still open to anyone who is interested.

sorry for any inconvenience caused. The draw will be better constructed this time to suit time zones for everyone. so when you join, if you dont specify which country you live in, it would make it ten times easier for me if you do specify the country you live in (or a country next to it if you really dont want your country disclosed)

tournament will still be for 8 people, I will consider 16 if there is enough demand.

For the record, if you decide that the clooneman vs gerrard first round tie remains the same in a competition of 8 players, I'd like the original result to remain also, out of respect to basic sporting principles.

Howeever, if it's an eight player tournament with a fresh draw in round 1 which happens to see me drawn against gerrard, that's different. I'll play him. And if its a 16-man tourney, then I'll play him in any event if drawn against him.

ok, we got 4 people; so if there are no more people in say 24 hours, I will run a 4 player tournament probably in a round robin format.

then if we do that and have like a finals series where I know how to make it that anyone could still get into the final, eeryone is assured of 4 games, the winner would have played 5 or 6 games.

but im still happy to see an 8 player KO tournament!!!

same rules as on page one. it going to be football (soccer) style of a group stage so to speak, then an extended finals run if the interest is there.

1 point for each frame you win - its first to 2. Please post results for all frames incase I need to figure out point differences in case of ties for finals.
