dont know if this has been mentioned, but what if we had a system like on Yahoo Answers where you can give other forum post a 'thumbs up' or 'thumbs down'.

the only problem with this (which happens on Yahoo) is that you get trolls that just go through giving everyone thumbs down, but if we had the rule that you had to have 100 or 200 posts before you could give them out, that may stop it.

just an idea, and it can stop posts just saying 'i agree' which serves no point towards the topic unless they add something to enhance the idea (in my opinion)

And possibly any posts that recieve, say, 10 or more thumbs down, are hidden (like on Yahoo Answers and Youtube.)

I like this idea especially if its in game queries the best answer will be the one with the most thumbs up! Thus saving you time scrolling trough looking for the best answer, I love this idea.

im not really seeing this as best answer or best idea, but more as a gauge of what people think.

then as you go through, you can see who agrees with what, and what no one agrees with...maybe a neutral button too? I dont think its right to have the best rated at the top, because it may become a popularity contest!
