I know it will probably never happen, but imagine how great an over 16s version of this site would be.

Where you can post anything (like this site 3 years ago) and discuss anything you like.
The torn city thread is another good example of summat that is doing no harm but will be removed because of the family site side of things.

I recognise that this is a family site but an adult version where you have to pay on debit/credit card a couple of quid a month for membership and to prove your age would be awesome.

I wouldn't like it why be seperated from the younger ones Its not like we hate under 16's is it lol.

This is, afterall, an online pool game. Fair enough you chat to a fair few people, and you get to know a few.... in which case you can arrange other ways of talking about what you want, and even in a private chat window, just so long as you know who you're talking to, and your not offending one another... who's to say what you can and can not talk to each other about?

This site is, and I'm pretty sure will always remain 100% family friendly.

I just think itd be nice to have a place to go and be able to talk without censorship about anything at all.
I realise its an online pool game and yeah in pm you can talk about anything at all. Just an adult only section would seem appropriate. By adult im not referring to what pro_i_am seems to think, i just mean things like-

Being able to post youtube videos with swearing or violence or whatever in, ie a music video
Jokes that arent family friendly enough for the joke thread
To be able to talk about a night out without having to choose your words so carefully.
Be able to play for real money!

I agree it probably wont happen, but its just a thought really. There are many things like gambling that couldnt come onto this site but could come on to a new adult version

On a purely personal level, I like parts of the idea.

I don't like the idea of a separate game, since that would hurt game population, which can already be a bit low during odd hours.

I do like the idea of a separate sub-forum tho. I couldn't be completely unmoderated, the limits of the law would necessarily still apply, but I see no show-stoppers for having an "adult" forum with a less restricted ruleset.

Doubt something like this will fall in taste with most of the staff tho, nor should it be anything that would deserve priority, so don't get your hopes up imo.

In the end, this would be fluff and nothing essential at all, so there are just about a billion other things more important to do with this game and this site before getting around to this one.

I agree it couldnt be unmoderated mate, certain things arent acceptable as an adult or a family site imo. Major example being racism.

I imagine it wont be most staffs cup of tea as well tbf jan, im just bouncing a new idea around. There are many other things id like to see before this but im just shoving it in the queue now

The main thing id like to be able to do is play for money on an official level ( i realise it is possible to do now but it would be stupid to do it as youve no guarantees of getting paid if you win.) I could talk about that particular subject for hours lmao
