The BIOS is nothing to do with Windows. Its part of the motherboard, and can't be bypassed.

I'm taking a wild guess here, are you on Vista and have enabled a feature called "readyboost"?

Otherwise, it seems you've installed something to a pen drive at some point. What hapens if you just carry on? Or can't you?

ha ha the curse of the hackers, don't try to quote me on this spinner, this one is mine mate lol, there is nothing you can do, if bios has been set up then you an't bypass it whatsoever, all he has done is activated the bios settings, bios is on every computer and all it takes is for somebody to activate it, because he has activated it the only wy it can be deactivated is if you put the pen drive back in, but if he refuses to do that, turn on your computer and keep pressing F8 and it should bypass it to the windows functions, on there, should be a setting to repair your computer or even your comp is an acer you can access the bios settings, or press F2 instead of F8, anyway try F8 first and try to repair your computer, try system restore, if not that, try safe mode into bios then disable it that way or if all else fails do a full factory restore

hope this helps, damn hackers

Er, you do know what the BIOS is don't you?

You can't "place a BIOS on to a pen drive", but what I suspect has happened is that they have changed the boot settings in the BIOS to boot from USB only.

Simply change that to your normal boot drive and all should be back to normal.

Here! Try my advice!

Press the on button. If it don't work, send it back to the makers in a cloud of anger and warranty papers...

Apologies on my earlier post, i was in spaceland, it was christmas lol, but now i'm back on form

Bios is the basic input/output system, it is the loading files for windows, it determines how windows loads up works, it has everything to do with windows, without bios windows wouldnt work, basically press f8 and look for options for bios settings, or it will be on your bootscreen, then go into there and change setting, bios is the easiest thing to hack and in order for it to load it needs to be removed, case closed!

Shripman, you still don't have a clue what the BIOS is...

Basically the BIOS identifies the hardware and initialises them, nothing to do with windows.
