jailbreaking means cracking it so it works with any operator and more importantly accepts any software you care to install without being at the mercy of apple's moods. Perfectly legal, but you abandon your warranty of course.

dont need one....my £40 nokia and £10 mp3/fm tuner can get the best radio station ever.
