Suprised at no threads concerning the US Open or in fact the Scottish (shove your Brit talk) tennis sensation Andy Murray.

Just awesomely overcame current No.1 Nadal in a classic fourth set. Federer in final tomorrow.

PS. Why does thread title need to be 12 or more characters?

Great result for the Scot. His first Grand Slam final was coming, and here it is. Great day for any Scottish tennis fans, and best of luck to him in the final tomorrow.

If you were to say that the Scot Andy Murray is ten times the tennis player that our English excuse for a top tennis player Tim Henman was, then I would have to say that I.....

Wholeheartedly agreed

Well.... actually he is. But, as the English media thinks, if he can't be English, he has to be British!

But he'll always be more Scotish than British!

Oh, I'm so tempted to go into an anti-English media rant.

I just wish they'd stop showing Rebecca Adlington as the face of the successful Olympians, Chris Hoy's is the outstanding one of the bunch, sompetes in 3 events and blows the field in them all. If he was English he would be Sports Personality of the Year, but I bet he isn't. Suprise suprise.

Who cares...he is an outstanding tennis player, and has been the outstanding player of the last couple of months or so! I really and truly hope he beats Federer in the final...cos for me, he really deserves to!

Funny the way when something good turns out from Scotland they are always Scottish but if someone good was to come out of anywhere else in Britain and be marked British its fine by everyone including the Scots as they are getting some credit by being in Britain.

However he is in amazing form and hope he wins it!

Nope not really, I remember saying we only won 3 golds at this years Olympics. Chris Hoy took them all for my country.

Wrong. When a "British" person outside of Scotland does something great, the Scots don't really care at all
