Ok ok fair enough I suppose technically you are correct. Seeing as "Great Britain" only technically means Scotland, England and Wales and the real title of our country is the "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland".
Sporting bodies see GB as the synonym for the United Kingdom, one of which is the International Olympic Committee, therefore David Healy would be a GB competitor due to being born in County Down, Northern Ireland.
