ive been trying to post screenshots for the past couple of weeks, but when i click post it comes up with a x and says posted image next to it, any reasons why?

That post covers how to post images, but there is a little more needed to get a screenshot online.

Simple method is to press the <ALT> + <Print Screen> keys together when in the game window.

This copies a screenshot of the active window to the clipboard.

You can then paste it into Paint (or any other graphics program) and save it as a .jpg before moving on to Nick's steps :

1. To upload the image from your computer you should use http://www.imageshack.us (there are other image hosts available - feel free to find others on Google).

2. Click Browse and locate the file on your computer, then click Host It.

3. The resultant page should have an option "Direct Link to Images". Copy the address in this box (it will be something like http://img341.imageshack.us/img341/3851/mendeskk6cq6.jpg)

4. While using the data post box you should click "Image". Put the address in the dialog box where prompted.

Really spinner, I only ever press print screen, no need for the ALT button, but basically that is all you really need to know dazpolz.

dorito, that was all i done, was press print screen, and it comes up with a x with posted image, thats why i posted this.

Best to paste in paint

I use photobucket thats the best for me !

And just post IMG Code :)

If you want to grab the whole screen, then yes thats all you need. However people may have private information on their desktop they dont want to post for all to see, and it's easier to press one key than learn how to crop/edit an image
