Hey,
Sorry about this, it may be pointless i dunno.
I NEVER usually just add ppl i dont know on msn yeah? But b4, i signed in and there was a girl request for me to add her.. im like Oh who's that..and i added!!! (Stupid Paula)..I cant really explain the convo cos of under aged ppl on this site that may read this but lets say it was it was very erm.. use your imagination!
I will however, say that the name started with jaklyn, and tho i dont think this is a virus, i thought id just let others know.
OH and she asked for credit Card details :S:S
Needless to say Ive blocked and deleted her! Rude girl!

Hey again..
Right..its defo some sort of automated scam or something.
I got a male friend to add her on his MSN, which he did.
Upon asking 'her' questions she said EXACTLY the same things as she had said to me. Its got to be automated cos she didnt reply to anything he asked!
Its wrong tho, because although im 23 and he's 21..we could of been under 16 and the site thats advertised is for over 18's only.
Anyone got any idea how 'she' got my addy tho? Its baffling me.

Yeah its just a messenging "bot" as they're normally called.
There are all manner of sites who, if you read carefully, will pass on your details to "affiliates" who may offer you some "service" or other. Social networking sites are particularly bad for that kind of thing.
At the other end of the scale is the brute force system, where a bot simply takes a dictionary of names, the same suggestion system MSN/Yahoo etc use to offer you a username if yours is taken, and add's all of them to its "buddy list". Then when someone replies, it starts sending the auto messages.
They are pretty harmless unless its an unblockable one, ask mr_mcquiston about those
