Recently people have been talking about the poor use of space for widescreen versions. How would this format look like?



Note this will not replace the current layout. It would be optional (in fact auto-detected with user override).

you get more table space cos the ads are on the left not at the top

i dont see what the problem is with increasing the percentage to say 125% but ok

cant see the chat area then mate. have to move about too much and i do believe you cant scroll in the game window now so zoom isnt really a great option.

I would definitely use it when playing on widescreen displays. Excellent option.

grr i cant this would be a great option to have. No-one can really disagree with it, as it would only be an option for widescreen users.
This coming in depends on the amount of people who post and say that they want it

i think nick knows its a good idea. On the snooker thread on this, he said that he just wanted to know how many would use it to see if its worthwhile.

i think the 8 ball uk size needs to be made larger.

In addition today's version:
- Improves the font at the top panel for some users
- Private room owner and invites should work properly
- There's a new link at the top to move back to chat room from games
- Reconnection speed is much quicker (retry every 1.5 seconds instead of 5-10 seconds). This helps for both users who lose connection and people who are waiting.
- Has a connection failing status message to the top right (previously this wasn't visible)

Nice one, looks alot better now Seems to have made more difference over here than snooks, except the UK table - that never changes.

Only thing i have noticed is the ads seems alot more noticable now - which for you ofcourse is a great thing, but put me off a little. But I'm used to it already so
