this is how it would be done its simple.for each round you get through you pick up 1 point,if u lose the round you lose 1 pts,if u fail to turn you lose 1 point its simple.the only problem i see is winning tournies in the morning isnt as hard as in the evening but there isnt as many rounds in the morning.any comments on this.

search "ranked tournaments" and it brings up 7 threads the same as this. Change the search string a little bit and you'll find even more =D

I couldnt care less if tournaments are ranked as i dont play many of them. Some people would like it, some would'nt. Just depends on how it was implemented, if at all!

People have been asking for ranking points on tournaments for years. Doubt it will ever happen. Think it's a bad idea playing for points during tournaments as more people would possibly decline the game due to their opponent having a much higher or lower rank than them.

Alternatively I would like to see credit given in profiles for getting to a final or a semi-final and not just for winning. I have reached a few of these and always fall short of wining lots of tournaments, so I think it would be popular with people to have in their profiles this kinda thing?
