Don't listen to adverts telling you to drink 6 pints of water a day.

Adverts tell you that then they wonder why there is a water drout in London!!

and we are surrounded by squillions of gallons of the flippin' stuff....all able to be filtered into clean drinkable water if required...and those that live in low land coastal areas......my advice? move inland higher above sea level before your homes become worthless, have you seen the news about the cliff top homes that are no longer useable??? all due too erosion and stronger seas caused by the good old shift of the sea.

No, I tell you what we need to do...

Get Thames Water to fix their leaky pipes!!

They lose 915,000,000 litres of water a day due to leakages.

For every iceberg that melts take a couple of whales out the sea, feed to them to kids in Africa.

Sea levels are back to normal, kids in Africa get a meal. Two majors issues in one go. Next....

It doesn't matter if you turn on the tap or not.

Because unless an absolute stupid amount of people did it, not much water would be saved. Obviously we should try to help those less fortunate but turning a tap off wont help because you might not be using water but someone somewhere else will just be using twice as much and the universal balance is restored.

Right mmt, use the bus as often as possible if 30 people do that and jump on a bus instead of cars there is less emissions in to the ozone, ice caps stop melting - less whales get killed. Also more demand for bus drivers lowers the unemployed rate. While this is happening less cars on the road less demand for petrol, government needs to lower tax on petrol, after all it's the tax that's too high not the actual petrol......everyones laughing, well except the starving african children missing their whale steaks.

Christ knows how the starving children will feel about you taking the bus more.

I think big water companies should be fined per litre lost a day...1p a litre...those pipes would be fixed in 3 days...and then they wouldn't have to keep digging the roads up grr.
