Say we win 8 they win 5 for example purposes, then 8 of our players cant play next round despite 3 of them winning! It wouldn't be fair

How about 3 rounds of random fixtures...
like number our players 1-13 and then a random draw to see who plays who, but you wont play everyone only 3 different players as it would take a long time to do 13 rounds!
