Right, some guy calls me a cheat because I have a new account (stueyy)

Shouldn't there be a way for people who aren't actually new, and just using a new account to change from having a newbie status, and just have like 'pro, intermediate' straight off?

I'm going to deactivate my other account (for reasons you might work out urself with some thought )

So I just want to get my stats together under a new name!

Why do you need a second account? IMO, if you want to create another account, you have to play the games to get out of newbie status, just like everybody else.

i find that its the same when i was trying out 8 ball and 9 ball, people were calling me all sorts because obviously i wasnt want my rank suggested, even though i told them i was just checking out the game..good idea, but i wont lose any sleep over it if it doesnt come in, id sooner have an upgrade that lets us see games when we walk into them, and then of course doubles

*whoosh* flew over your head that 1 mate..:P..what he means is if your half decent at this game and your on a new account whether its a secondary account or a new only account, when playing ranked people will hammer you for being a "fake newb."

With that feature the idea would be, if you know ya not a real newbie, maybe their could be an option to tell people that, so they know before you 7ball them

I know it was partly in jest, but this is vary valid.

People leave and come back for many reasons, nothing wrong with that.

People who moan about being beaten for whatever reason are just sore losers who dont understand that the newbie adjustment makes sure they lose very little of their precious rank compared to a non-newbie of similar level.

Simple solution is to just say you have just returned. No need to say why, thats your buisiness.

Yeah, I wouldn't have another account I use generally without good reason

Yes Mike That's why I got the new account, as soon as I can post on it I'll deactivate this one

Edit: I realise I didn't make it clear that It is a NEW account, not a second one. There is no reason for me to have 2, so as I said, deactivating the other one I'll change it up there

dave- i agree with you on this one.....the newbie adjustment does make up for it definitly....if you do recreate though, all the way through, people will play you and complain that ya a fake newb.....
Good point that if you did change ya status youd be robbing more points off them than if u was a newbie.

In fact next time im a newbie, if there is a next time, i will just paste this link to any1 who complains

Dont worry Stu, i always get hassle when i've got no distractions (daughters current favourite is shoving 3D glasses on me)

I get accused of "playing below my real rank" and "ripping me off", "cheat" etc.

Of course i'm none of those, i'm just not that good....

I can see what you mean about getting more points for being a non newbie, didn't really think of that. But thing is, I was at like 740 and he was close, so wouldn't have made much difference.

He claimed he didn't play for points, but can now add me to the names to spread round for being a fake lmao.

I quite enjoyed the chat tbh, was a laugh - but it still doesn't make it ok

Thought of something When I said this idea I literally meant change your name to a non newbie, maybe before the 100 games the deduction from points stay put?
