I've also been getting bad lag. Now got my first abandoned game on 9 ball . Took a shot and screen froze. Minutes later it logged me out. Not happy with this at all.

spenny, please update your Java to the latest version.

I have your error report. The error was in code that's been stable for a long time, I'm not sure why it's appeared at this time.

Mike, your Java version is pretty old (it's now v1.6), and it isn't the most stable.

If you can I'd attempt a complete reinstall. (Steals spinner's instructions!)
- Go to control panel
- Add remove programs
- Remove all the java versions you see (there may be more than one).
- Clear browser histories including downloaded program files.
- Reboot (even if you're not told to)
- Then visit http://www.java.com for a new, clean, install.

Im about to changeover pc but ill mae sure i get v1.6 on the new 'un.

as i say though it never really caused me a problem, you just minimize and maximise it and its fine
