I think it would be a good idea if you have 2 separate tournaments on the hour for high experienced players and least experienced players, as its always good players winning the tournaments.

What do you think?

I find it's better to work your way up to a 1st tournament win, it makes it sweeter.

Exactly what is usually mentioned when this topic comes up It won't make any difference by making different tournys

Think mich was meaning, how do you stop fake newbies entering these tournaments?

No way of policing it.

Because this site isnt full of them at the moment!

Oh dear sarcasm!!

1. A cutting, often ironic remark intended to wound.
2. A form of wit that is marked by the use of sarcastic language and is intended to make its victim the butt of contempt or ridicule.

3. The use of sarcasm. See Synonyms at wit1.

As good as they get! we all lose to newbies and can never take it away as we all been there! it sometimes needs more assistance!

i see what you all mean, but some people who join aren't good enough to win tournaments. But i agree with most of your terms, and i know half of the people on this game are experienced enough to win tournaments, but im just saying for unexperienced people that cant win tournaments.

I think its fine as it is because its just like the FA Cup really (football/soccer tourny)and any team can win it so its basically like pool...if it changed then tournys wouldn't be the same anymore

but nick... it would be quite unfair to the others... lousy ones...

maybe in the profile, we could have 2 tournaments wins profile...1 states le tournaments...
1 states for he tournaments..

le - lower experienced
he - higher experienced

but how do you not let "high expirienced" players into lower expirienced tournies then?
In the end if you are that bad you are gonna end up losing anyway.

Isn't the idea of tournaments to find the player who is playing the best pool that is online at the moment??

Surely having a lower experienced tourney defeats that purpose...

Better to be left as it is. Many of the least experienced players can still win a tournament.

If they REALLY ARE not very experienced, then the odds of winning is very very slim.

The only reason why you find winners who have played under 200 games, lets say, is because they have had previous accounts...

That makes them fake...

It is like the F.A cup, everyone enters it, but more likely than not, the premiership teams win it... The lower league teams may destroy such champs as Liverpool and Chelsea, but at the end of the day, premiership teams are the best.

Ok, try this one:

Cityfan84 vs Me... Who would you bet for?

Obviously City, because he is waaay more experienced than me.

Back on topic, tournaments are designed to find the best, so should only be won by the best.
