When are these actually sent out?

A simple question, just a thought because I'm not sure if there is an actual date or not..

Also, if Nick can answer this (or another admin) what is used to design them?

Sometime during the month, usually at the end as it's lower priority.

I still think you should get users to email you articles for the newsletter to make it bigger and more interesting to read. More work albeit!

Also - Looking at the new newsletter, I'm upset to see spelling & grammatically errors in it. There's names of pool/snooker players that haven't got capitals for their names. Sorry, but I'm picky!

I believe nick puts the interviewee's words exactly as they type them!

It's a newsletter that's going out to the users of Funkypool, the quality has to be ok at least! 5 minute job to add grammar to it.

My main point is that I think users should submit articles to Nick for the newsletter. People will be looking forward to it more to see if their article got published.

The player names are deliberately left lower case, and the interview answers are left "as is". I don't think there's many mistakes in the normal text?

EDIT: regarding user articles it's a good idea - compiling and choosing this would take time - but if there's a system in place and I just add to the letter that'd be fine.

I didn't mean the FP players name, I mean the real life snooker and pool players cityfan used but you answered why not

I don't know anything about systems etc but maybe getting a team of 3 or 4 mods to pick articles each month maybe? I know time isn't on your hands but just a suggestion.
