Right, i have to say that i love killer pool, and thanks alot to nick for creating it!
Anyhow, my idea is that on the breakoff shot, 3 balls must hit the rail/cusion, in order for the break to be legal. If the person fails to do this then they lose a point.
This is to stop tap breaks, where the user opens up a single ball for themselves whilst leaving a big cluster of balls in the middle of the table, which are, without blasting them, and hoping luck is on your side, unpottable. Thoughts?

Luckily, that hasn't happened in a game I've seen yet But thinking about it people are more than likely going to do it.. So, nice idea

The thing is, I believe, the idea is to leave the next shot as hard as possible for the next player, in order to win.
I think doing that is actually a good tactic.

Must have to agree with this.
I was first exposed to the tap breaks with a single open ball being potted on the follow-up today myself.
Repeated it myself fairly easily 3 times in a row after that, so yes this option should not be available if there's a simple and decent way to prevent it (which is just what your suggestion is IMO)

I also think if your opponent manages a gb off the break it should be an event this would help above situation to give them an insentive.
i have seen a few people get it with no announcement

Another idea is changing the percentage won for each pot. Example of this: If you win with 1 life remaining, then winner takes pot plus 10%, winning with 2 lives remaining - winner takes pot plus 20%. 3 lives remaining equals pot plus 30%.

is it just me, or does anyone else think it would be proper easy to cheat the ranking system ? because on the results page it doesnt say who you was in a killer game with, so for all we know someone could be continuesly playing the same two players for example, and winning everygame, not that im accusing anyone of cheating, but few things do look odd, anyone agree ?

It's a very good shot, but in the interest of keeping the game open and fun, and keeping the break from being a massive advantage, this should be prevented.
Not because it is cheesy or anything like that, but because it's a tactic that too easily achieves too much. It's perfectly legit, just very undesirable for the sake of the game.

nah i disagree, just because its on a blue table, doesn't mean the rules have to be the same.
