True - i also happen to think that the US type rules work best for killer as janmb says but maybe in the future there will be the option of killer on a UK table under rules similar to UK8 which would then please everyone

I asked something similar on the other thread but haven't had a reply. As it stands, it's difficult to call it a ranking system as such, as no-one has a rank, just points that make no difference to what people gain/lose in a game. I'm hopeful that something can be introduced soon so that there's a way of comparing players (just like in the other pool games).

I have been a user of this tactic. I don't see the difference between using it and snookering on UK8. Are we going to get rid of it .

Also the tactic can backfire by giving you less balls to sink off the break. Or by the time it is your turn again there may still be a group of balls. And remember the break changes throughout the game, so what goes around comes around

The real killer is based on 8UK, and from what games i play its pretty much like the format here. You have 3 lives and play until you lose all your lives.

Remember this is funky pool and not real pool, so if its on 8UK or 8US then you can still have fun!

I woukd like this to be also a game that you can add rank points to a game and play a game with friends, eg. i want to play a game with 4 friends and we all decide to give 5 rank points !and winner takes points! as killer is a game of skill and luck it might add to the current rank system!

Well the feature was implemented and I think it makes it a bit exciting. However the new feature was bought to my attention when I tap broke with 1 life left. So I lost =-). That's the way the cookie crumbles I suppose.
