I use the Firefox 3, which wasn't officially released until today lol.. But i had downloaded the version a few weeks back..

I've encountered a few problems:

General jpg images wont always show up,
It tells me to install a plugin which it can't find to view certain things,
Flashboxes don't show up on bebo..

I am going to try redownloading, but wondererd if it was just me who gets this problem?

Edit: I tried redownloading it, but nothing changed

The plugin functionality was terrible in the beta versions, but i would have expected them to be fixed by now.

Ah well, some things never change

IE 8 will be along soon, so dont worry

I've downloading it and it's fine for me. Maybe it's karma for downloading it earlier!

Lol, well i hope it gets sorted soon!

It's annoying lol, because the stuff i want to show up shows up on IE, so its definately a firefox problem..

Also if i click view source on here on the page with the image i want shown, its clearly there with <img src="pic.jpg">

Sounds like a plugin problem for sure. Have used FF3 a little bit myself in different beta versions without seeing anything like what you describe, but not much else it can be.

If I remember correctly tho, FF3 has a bit of built-in add/popup blocking functionality so you might want to look in that direction as well - if that may be what's blocking your pictures (although definitely doesn't sound like it so jus a wild goose-chase here really)

And in either case - Opera 9.5 > FF3

I heard that they sent you a virus if they found out you downloaded it before its release

Perhaps this is the problem?

I am not sure bout anything else but some adobe plug ins, like Shockwave aren't supported on Firefox. Although images should be showing, try completely uninstalling FF and reinstalling it again.

idk why everyone is giving him such a hard time for having it before it was released.. they did have an open beta program and my guess is thats where he got it.. i had it when it was in beta.. hated it tbh, and my guess would be to make sure when u uninstall u uninstall everything u have for firefox then try it

I downloaded Firefox 3 and i don't like it at all. The first Firefox never had that white trip at the top of your game, were as Firefox 3 has it witch makes the table a touch smaller, and i find it hard to play on it. Also its a touch slower as well.

I have searched Google for the first Firefox (what i had) and i cant find it, it just bring me to Firefox 3, can any one find the link and post it here please?

Aha, I think it's something to do with the ad blocking pop up thing..

If I disable it on that page, it shows up some of the images (called from a random image script) but not all of them.. but ah well
