It hasn't been working for a long time but my mum said something came up about the laptop touchpad. Since then it hasn't worked!

Does anyone know how to fix it, preferably Spinner, lol.

Cheers

Anything in the tray that is associate with the touch pad (located bottom right)?

I have something called the 'Synaptics Pointing device' - Usually you can sort it out there. I personally prefer a mouse for pool...

System restore might sort your problem.

Or - Go to Control Panel and click Printers and other hardware and then click Mouse.

Options should be there and might find the problem?

^^ what he said

If you're using XP or Vista, I would reccomend trying system restore first, to roll back to a time you know the touchpad was working.

It's almost certainly a driver issue.
