i entered a tourney for the first time,wondered why i got D/Qd when i was online and available,is there somethin i didnt do,is there somthin ive gotta do

according to the tournament page you were not logged into the game window when the tournament draw was done

thnx madmike,i closed the game window down but remained logged in thinkin that would be enough(newbies eh lol)

its not that cos his name is right at the top with all the other people who were offline at the time of the draw

didnt get an invite pro,i assume its coz i closed the game window,i didnt wanna be in game when i got an invite,so started browsin,thnx again anyhow

Like already pointed out, that's correct. You need to have the game client open, and be logged in there (also be aware that there is a timeout if you are inactive for a certain duration - I believe it's 15 minutes)

The invite (which you need to be able to receive) is done in the game client, not on the web site.

..... and don't worry if you're in a game, you have 3mins to accept the invite. In most cases it's plenty of time to accept
