Hey guys! just got a good idea!

what about if we could make our own rules for the games and picking our own table like 8 ball uk on the 8 ball us table?

like...

8 ball uk
1 shot if fouled (no free ball)
3 fouls in a row = lose
if fouled you can place the ball any where on table

etc etc you kinda get the idea?

to be honest i think that would be pretty cool!
we could host our own tournaments too and it could be added to profile..

Maybe not the 8 ball UK on US table because it wouldn't fit in the pockets? lol but other than that, customizable rules sounds good

i like it, would add a different dimension to the site, being able to create the rules, because if 2 people who want to play each other at us 9 ball hate the "3 fouls and you lose" rule they could choose to not have it etc etc

Personally I don't like it, then again that doesn't mean it's not a good idea as long as others like it. An idea isn't bad just because you don't see the need for it yourself.

Would be quite a hassle to implement I'd imagine tho, and add a lot of complexity for the users too.

Sorry if someones said this in a post above but its late and cant be bothered to read up, but wouldn't that just make it US 8ball? It annoys me so much in real life when people are playing english pool and they think they can bring the US rules into i.e moving ball anywhere on table so im sure if I was a regular funkypooler it'd be the same, as for the general idea UK 8 ball is fine the way I see it and I dont't play it that often.

Did you leave out the last S on purpose?
