us 9 ball.. winner breaks..

just had an idea while watching a few 9 ball games, was wondering if it would be possible to change the rules on here for 9 ball to that of real life when it comes to break offs, because at the moment its take your turn one after another symotaniously (hope i spelt it right lmao) were as in real life its winner breaks, which gives them the chance to string 3 wins in a row or summit together by keeping the break after winning.. what are your thoughts ??

What you said about real life is not necessarily true - not all tournaments have that format, and personally I don't see the need for it, but maybe some others disagree...

think of it this way, your going to play way better and try far harder if you got the chance to keep your opponent sitting there doing nuffin while your there possibly winning the final 3-0

well thats possibly true...but considering i find uk run outs easier to come by than 9 ball, it doesnt really appeal to me

it makes sense, then again having the possibility to do three runouts isn't very fun for the opponent. It would be fair, but IMO goes a little against the spirit of funky pool
