i ll tell u y,it is the most playerable pool game ever better then all others,y could have charactors from this game on it,ie nasty players and friendly players.it would need a few tweeks but if a big company came on board it would be great ,what do u lot think?

Not a bad idea itself, but would obviously be a lot of work for Nick to port it to whatever console platform you have in mind - and then there's the economical aspects of it.... (no thanks to that big company though, we need to maintain the current ability to change the game as we please imo - without any big sponsor to boss us around)

Besides - which console has a controller that's suitable for this game? (Setting the aim point is simple enough, but how would you emulate the current, great solution for power control?)

Emulating a pool shot with the wii controls would been fun for sure. Then again wii development kits are still proprietary, aren't they?

Personally i think that funkypool should just be left alone on the www but if you want to mimic a cue action on the cheap then forget the wii and look no further than the good old reliable analogue controller ( tiger woods golf games have been using this same control method for years ).

yeah, creating a console game takes a long time (from what I have herd)....

it would work well on the Playstation format....Left analog stick to aim and the right analog stick for power.

I dont know about many other consoles and weather they have an analog stick or not....

but how would you finish the game?? start as newbie and work your way up to number one? Moderators booting you out along the way for bad language? A forum to discuss new things??

To be fair, why would people pay £30 ish to play FunkyPool, when they can come on here and play it for free...

True the aspect of playing a person from 1000 miles away does make the game more enjoyable.you can make people feel bad from a different continent

i dont think it is a great idea because people come on funkysnooker / funkypool because they like to chat and have a game with there friends if it was a game i wouldnt play it i like it online meet new people and have a laugh
