You could click the ignore button then a box could pop up saying how long would you like to ignore this person for.

I.e

10 minutes
20 minutes
30 minutes
1 hour
2 hours
5 hours
1 day
1 week
1 month
Forever

Pointless.

I think this is unnecessary for the standard ignore feature, because if you want to ignore someone, there is no reason for that to change.

However, the idea of a limited time is a good one if applied to the recently suggested "ignore all chat" option.

It could also apply to "ignore PM's" - for example, if you make it to a tournament final, you could click that to make sure you aren't interrupted.

But what's wrong with just ignoring someone then when you want stop ignoring them take them back off ignore?

I like the ignore chat idea, or an ignore chat except...whoever....

what you do is keep ur eyes away from the chat screen,that way u won't get distracted.

im getting this idea from the feature there is now but different lol.
instead of making the chat box bigger how about a hide chat box button where it is just blank and the table stays the same size but its just blank apart from the box a side.

and you only can see the players in the room.

i think we should cap this because if u put them on forever and u make friends with them again

colins, have a heart and dont just say 'pointless'. This guy (whoever he was) had put some time and effort into his idea. at least say why its 'pointless'

However, I will have to go with the crowd and disagree with the idea. If I ignore someone, I generally put them off my ignore list after a while anyway as half of them generally end up as banned users.
