Right, this league will consist of only the very best and I imagine that this thread will be for match arranging purposes and results.

It will basically be an 8 ball US league of 10 of the best which will then be divided into two groups of 5. Each player will play everyone else in their group twice in a race to 5. Points are given in frames. For example:

ex_champ 5 madmiketyson 3

rematch:

madmiketyson 5 ex_champ 2

Mike would have amassed 8 points to ex's 7

Then the top two go through from each group and play a semi-final. So 1st in group A plays 2nd in group B and vice versa.

how did you decide who was the 'very best' in terms of an invite tally? And how do you qualify for it other than it being your tourney?

To be fair i dont think this is the ten best players of US8 Ball Chris, just ten of the better players- you could probably extend this to 30 people and there would still be someone who is great who is missing

ha, yeah I did debate that but I never see him on and he never seems to do any leagues so I thought I would do other more consistant people Yeah maybe I shouldn't be in but we shall see when the final results come in

Rightio! I think I am about ready to comprise the groups! As ab doesn't want in for work commitments and davyb1 hasn't replied despite having logged on this morning I will cut it down to 8, 2 groups of 4.

straight away ill say- i see you and king online a lot but i havent seen rob online at the same time as me in like...forever.....lol..but ill try n arrange it with him- ill be in game tomorrow night probably at some point but im not off work til monday so ill be easier to catch then
