side spin works nicely in the various games BEFORE you've made contact with the object ball, but seems to all but vanish/"wear off" immediately after contact with the object ball. would it be possible to alter this so that the game plays more like the real thing? Particularly American 8/9ball where side does crazy things and makes all sorts of positional shots possible.

I thought about this also, being able to use running/check side after contact with a ball would be great and add more skill to the game in my opinion

Well what it does is spin to whichever side you put the spin on

i think the sidespin on at the moment is efficient enough, lol, otherwise a pro that has perfected will never get out of position and newbies will find it harder. Whereas right now it seems to be good enough for newbies to use and pros can still loose position if they make a mistake
