HELPP

Right....its been like this for about a week now.....But there are varies sites that i cant visit.....
Such as
www.onemorelevel.com
www.youtube.com

And yet....other people can visit them...so it cant be the server is down....

But at the same time...i can visit loads of other sites such as Funkypoolll.....google e.t.c

Whenever i visit onemorelevel.com or youtube it says 'Internet Explorer Cannot Find This Page' and yet....my internet is on a strong connection

Any help would be appriechiated...

tried clearing your cokkies and that- maybe an error you had before has saved? not that i know a lot about it - ijust remember this thread before

But whenever i try go on these sites...it comes up with the Ask.com search engine =/

^^^ yep thats spot on. Not just your cookies, but the full browsing history.

Holdig down Shift-F5 when on the page should refresh it too though.

I have spinner....Deleted all my cookies, history,remembered,temproay internet files and form data..

Still doesnt work

Youtube seems to be down at the moment. Couldn't get on earlier today on the computers in the uni library... can't get on now on my laptop.

Strange that. Don't think it's browser related either. Youtube wont work on IE or Firefox at uni, and I've tried Opera, IE, Netscape and Avant at home and still had no luck. Firewall isn't the problem either.

i'm SO glad i'm not the only one with this problem! i just came on here to make a thread about this problem. I'm having the exact same thing. Can't visit youtube, occasionally can't visit myspace.

I've send a ping request + NSlooukup using cmd, and both failed. If i go on a site such as bebo, which has youtube video's in the flash box, the flash box just stays white and doesn't load! I've cleared cache, history, temp files, temp internet files, reset router, everything. It's not just a problem with my PC either, i can't visit youtube on my mothers laptop aswel as mine!

Question for spinner: My IP address is usually 172. ...etc, but since youtube has been blocked for me, it's been saying my IP address starts with 92. ...etc any idea why it would say this? I'm connected to MY wireless network.

Well me and elementality have been speking on msn and figured out the problem is because we r on AOL.....and they suck..!

So anyone on AOL will have this same problem...

Hmm... maybe, maybe not. I'm not on AOL and I'm getting the same problem. Unless Tiscali and AOL are related in any way, I doubt it would be that.

yeah it's defo AOL blocking it. i found a forum about it online, full of about 50 AOL users saying they can't connect to various sites, and that their IP addresses have changed by themselves. AOL say it is a fault on their end and is currently being worked on, if it's not resolved in a few days then..goodbye AOL =D

Actually yeah, it does work on Tiscali now. Ignore my last post.

Hmm, breakthrough on the youtube situation.

Can now access it for the 1st time in ages!! my IP is still 92..... instead of my original 172..... but maybe that's now a permanent thing, and the lack of visiting sites was a cause of the change?!

Anyway, all sites are working for me now! What about you ruddan? Hope it stays this way and isn't just temporary!
