I know that it hasent started yet but what is this Career mode that some folks are talking about??

I know that i should know about these things as i have been on here for a couple of years but I must have missed it lol.

I'd help but I've not heard of it either sorry.

I know what you're talking about, saw it a while back. If Nick is still working on it/planning to in the future I suppose we'll find out when that happens

Well i'm not sure if it will be getting introduced now (hopefully i'm wrong) as it was meant to be on the premium upgrade, But as Nick is trying to keep the site free i carn't see it happening.

As for knowing what it is i'm not sure myself, Maybe it could save your accumilated wins/losses, Tell you how many times you beat your friends, Or maybe you could set up your own leagues/tournaments and set up other things along them lines... Just a guess, Don't bite my head of if you think i'm wrong

If it invloves making your own league etc it gets my vote!

Well,dont forget the only bit of premium not introduced was the charge - the offline messaging etc is all here, and i sus pect career mode will be the same when it arrives.

Basically, you're looking at site organised leagues, with seeding involved where you have to reach a certain level to gain entry to tournaments etc.

Thats very basic and just my view, so what actualy happens could be wildly different, but think of how a real life players career works, and you get the general idea.

This would be in addition to, and would not affect the current ranked an tournament structures.

Hmm...Sound awesomely interesting..Only if its going to be free...I find it a good thing that Nick is trying to keep this site free, so i would hate it if he bought in this premium upgrade buisness which means you would have to pay to have this 'career mode' ?

I think its good too because it must have cost more than £1,000 to make it and he is hardly getting anthging out of it.

I wouldn't mind if you did have to pay for it, Aslong as the price he set was reasonable.

If it is what spinner said, Then that sound's cool will be a very nice addition!.

If possibly would Nick be able to give us some feed back on this 'career mode' so we understand what it is, And when it is being introduced, IF it get's introduced.

As we all know..this is a big family site with people as young as the age of 9 playing. And children might not be able to pay because of the simple fact, there parents would say 'im not paying money for something over the net'
So...if we do have to pay for it....i think the site could lose many players, players of which who couldnt pay for it...as other players will be getting the adantage of the 'career mode'

And Flapjack....how can you say the Career Mode is awesome when you dont know what it is....i dont think really no one knows what it is apart from Nick

He says he thinks it is going to be awesome.
